Solved By Code is a free-to-read research publication. There are no accounts, no paid tiers, no newsletters, and no ads. The privacy footprint is small and documented below in plain language — not legal boilerplate.
What we collect
Anonymized analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, measure load performance, and understand which stories readers find. No cookies are set for this. No personal data, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no profile building. The data set is aggregated and retained for 30 days.
Email, if you write to us. Tips, pitches, and corrections sent to editor@solvedbycode.ai are stored in our inbox for as long as the correspondence remains useful. They are never shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than replying to you or attributing a tip.
Local browser storage. Some features on article pages use localStorage to remember preferences — for example, dark-mode state. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
What we do not collect
No IP-address logging for profiling purposes. No third-party ad pixels. No Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn Insight Tag. No session replay. No email opens or link-click tracking.
Your rights
Under GDPR (if you are in the EEA/UK) and CCPA (if you are in California), you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Because we collect so little, most requests amount to “please delete the email thread we had.” Send those to editor@solvedbycode.ai.
Children
The publication is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is collected, this page is updated and the “Last updated” date above is stamped to match. Substantive changes will be noted at the top of this page for at least 60 days.
